Want to unfriend someone on Facebook? This guide will show you how to do it in two different ways.
First way to do it
Once you have logged in to Facebook, go to the profile of the Facebook friend that you want to remove. You can do this by looking for the name of that user in the search box at the top of your page. Once you are on his or her profile, place the mouse on the “Friends” button, which is near the top center of the screen, and then click on the “Unfriend” option in the appearing menu.
Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says "Remove from Friends" to confirm the action.
Second way to do it
Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top left hand corner of the page, click on your name or small profile picture.
Then, click on the Friends box that is among the boxes that are right under your name and big cover picture.
Once you have done that, place the pointer of your mouse over the name of any friend you want to remove without clicking on it. In the small window that appears, place the pointer of your mouse over its “Friends” button, and finally, in the appearing menu, click on the “Unfriend” option.
Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says "Remove from Friends" to confirm the action.
Although this way you will remove one friend at a time, this method is also the most comfortable way to remove multiple friends on Facebook.
